I've lived in Queenstown for more than 13 years now.I've seen things come and go over that time. Once again by accident I came to Queenstown for a holiday, and never left. Thats how it was back in the day. It was cool in the sense that you came to Queenstown to ski for a season and then chase winter in the northern Hemisphere.
Queenstown has no excuse for being lazy, in a town with close to 0% unemployment it is hard to believe that you can live in this town without a job.
People say that Queenstown is an expensive place to come stay.

"It's a town for the wealthy and affluent".

If you talk to most of the local business people, you'll find that they came here for holiday; just like me many years ago. Now their passion has made them a profit. They will continue to provide a service and product that will ensure anyone can enjoys the bounty's that Queenstown has to offer.
